This is a blog of whatever I happen to be obsessing over, things I find insanely cool, frustrating, or just plain…strange. There will probably be blogging about writing, history, costuming, pets, politics, books, gardening, the 10th Doctor, travel (time and otherwise), and why there are so many empty cans of Coke and Pepsi up for sale on Ebay.
You’ve probably figured out quite a bit about me just from the above interests, so if you haven’t clicked away to a less schizophrenic blog already, stick around…we might be fun together.

I love your site. Keep it up !
Hi,
I have quickly become a fan of your sewing sites, your facebook and now this site.
i wanted to email you privately but can not find how.
I sew, a little, and love steampunk.I have made a few items using old clothing found at value villages and thrift stores. I would love to know where you get your patterns for the airship pirate vest and skirt, bustle.. if you would so kind share this? if not I understand, but a girl who loves to sew and find fun in creating pieces for dress up would appreciate it.:)
i;d love to share some photos with you of what I have created.!
cheers
dee
Thanks, Dee! I”m emailing you now….
I’m interested in your chickens. This is the 5th breed, what other ones do you have?
We have 6 Rhode Island Reds but I’m considering some heritage breeds.
Love your blog.
Hi Barbara, thanks for the comment!. My six breeds are Welsummer, Rhode Island Red, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Silver Cuckoo Maran, Barnevelder, and Delaware. They all have very distinct personalities and qualities. If you’re considering one or more of those breeds, and would like more specific info on what they are like, and what the good/bad points of them are, feel free to either leave a comment or email me at middleearthfan@yahoo.com
